I went blind and could no longer see

So... this was an idea I got while scrolling through my news feed on FaceBook. I saw a photo of a blind Great Dane being led by another Great Dane; it was touching. I got the idea to draw Amaya blind, but I'm too exhausted to draw, so I decided to write it out. I was actually able to get more out from writing it; I actually started tearing up from writing this. I haven't written anything like it. It's a new perspective on things, I think.
